The Dell Mini 3i lived a complicated life so far: first it was rumored that it will appear, then it was rumored that Dell has abandoned the Dell Mini 3i, but in only a matter of days, that rumor was somehow denied by Dell officials. Thankfully, the phone has been official for a while, and today we learned a little more about it.

Well, it seems that China will be the first country to get the Android-based Dell Mini 3i and it’s only a matter of days before it happens. The Dell Mini 3i will make its next pit stop in Brazil by the end of the year. The specs are a little unclear, with no official details about it, nor the pricing.

What we do know is that the Chinese version of the Dell Mini 3i does not come with 3G support (just as the rumored specs for the Dell Mini 3i came out a while back) while the Brazilian version will get both 3G support and Wi-Fi connectivity. That same “upgraded” version of the Dell Mini 3i, called the Dell Mini 3iX, will come in 2010 in the US at AT&T.

The most important thing is not weather the Dell Mini 3i is good or bad, but the fact that Dell marked that the Dell Mini 3i will be just their first smartphone, with more to come. Competition is always welcomed. We will come back with more information about the Dell Mini 3i as we will get it.
